Nasib Baik

I ordered this item for RM40 inclusive of postage from Seventh Day Preorder:

Then I saw this selling at RM46 exclusive of postage by FruitySensation.

Eee, nasib baik my first choice was better. I think I'm going to start a "black" list so that I dont visit the wrong sites.

While browsing more sites, I also came across this high waisted skirt selling for RM45 (exclusive of the pricey postage) at ChamberofFashion

While OurMutualPassion only sold it for RM40 with a cheaper postage price.

Nasib I did not order any. Looks like another site joining my black list.

Dilemma

Although I have been testing the waters with clothings, this is my first time buying accessories online. After being hypnotized by a "magical" pair of fairy and star earrings reviewed by PrettyandUnder40 (the creator of the blog is almost God-send. THANK YOU!), I went through the original site for about 5 times trying to figure out which accessories I should add into my collection. The gorgeous rose and pearl necklace caught my eye as the perfect gift for Mother's Day.

The site I first saw this beauty: A Fashion Story

The item was priced at RM17 but it was marked as "sold". I have inquired whether there's a restock but have yet to get a reply from the shop owner because she's occupied with her final examination (studies first, I always say). Postage is RM2.5 for Express Post.

Then I saw this set of jewellery: Princess Feverlicious

It comes with the earrings too which makes it even more perfect as a gift! It's priced at RM30. Although it's slightly out of my budget, I still cant keep my mind off it. The seller's giving three options of postage: Pos Laju at RM6 for 1-2 pcs, Express Post RM4 and Registered mail RM4. I feel that since I am not buying a piece of clothing and if the first seller (AFS) can send out the accessories at RM2.5 through Express post, then why cant the 2nd seller (PF) do the same?

Anyhow, I'm now in the dilemma of knowing which seller to buy from. Of course, if the first seller replied and said that the item is non-restockable, life would be so much easier. Still...somebody help?!

The First Dismay

I bought this dress a few weeks back for RM45. I thought it's quite a stylish dress so I did not mind paying slightly more for it. I was a clearly a newbie because I just found out that I could own the same dress at RM10 cheaper!

The site I bought my dress from: Miss Shopaholic's Closet

The cheaper site: JI ZONE

On the other hand, MSC offered to send the items by Registered mail for RM3 per item, an addition of RM1 for 2-3 items and free postage for 4 or more items while JZ send their orders by Poslaju with RM8 for 1-2 pieces, RM12 for 3-4 pieces and RM14 for 5 pieces and above (!!!). Perhaps buyers who are in dire need of the items do not mind the postage fees but I am in no hurry to receive my orders. That's why I find myself almost tearing my hair out at being ripped off!

Update: I wrote to MSC to "complain" about the huge price difference and they were shocked at finding JZ being able to sell so cheap. MSC clarified that with the supplier's price, it's impossible for them to lower it as low as their competitor. The conclusion: Sue the Supplier!!! (but point taken)

In the Beginning

I am starting this blog because as I switch to online shopping for some of my necessities (a girl needs to be beautiful), I find myself wanting to get the best of deals. With the sudden influx of online retail blogs, it would be good to remind myself to save while spending. I hope the readers will find this blog useful. After all, consumers need to exercise their rights and shop smart.
